Adjectives that describe things, versus adjectives that describe how you feel.
- Adjectives ending in ‘-ing’ describe things (A relaxing massage, an interesting book, a tiring walk)
- Adjectives ending in ‘-ed’ describe feelings. (I am excited about the new movie, I am frustrated at the news)
For example, ‘I am boring’ and ‘I am bored’ have completely different meanings. It is important that you try learn to use these adjectives correctly.
