Once I’ve registered as a candidate, are my details held
in the database?
Yes. Once you’ve successfully registered your details will be held

have appeared. What do I do?
Sessions at a given Centre will not appear if there is no test on a
given date, or if the test session is full.

FAQ – What is the difference between “AC” and “GT”
“AC” means the Academic
version of the IELTS test. This is, generally, for candidates
wishing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for
those seeking professional registration. Please check with the body
to which you are applying to see what version of IELTS they

version is, generally, for candidates wishing to migrate to an
English speaking country and for those wishing to train or study at

FAQ – What is a National Identity Card?
National Identity Card is an official identity document provided to
all citizens in some countries. Please note: it is not the same as
other forms of identification such as a driver’s licence, etc.
